World War 2 in China (2nd Sino Japanese War)
The Second Sino-Japanese War was fought between China and Japan during the Second World War.
The war mainly started when Japan were jealous of the natural resources China have. They invaded Manchuria, which is in North-East China, easily as China was a divided country back then and didn’t have a stable military base. The Chinese Emperor was okay with that he was a puppet of the Japanese.
Soon after invading, the Japanese conquered almost the whole North China. They also took over the economy and the political base of China. The overall vision was to conquer the whole China so Japan can use its resources for World War 2.
China got massive support from the European nations as they were fully against the Japanese, who were part of the Nazi group led by Adolf Hitler and Germany. Soon, the United States helped indirectly towards China as the Americans bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the two main Japanese cities, in reply to Japan’s bombing in Pearl Harbor.
After the
severe attacks, the Japanese surrendered from both the Second Sino-Japanese War
and World War 2 which meant China won the Second Sino-Japanese War.
